During the past weekend and as published in different media, Dr. Jesús Vaquero, head of neurosurgery at the Puerta de Hierro Hospital in Madrid, professor and author of more than 700 scientific publications, died.

Undoubtedly, it has been and will be a world reference in the development of cell therapy for the treatment of spinal cord injuries, conducting six clinical trials with the company, with very positive results that undoubtedly increase the quality of life of patients with this type of trauma.

All the research developed together with the Sermes CRO staff has been accompanied at all times by the availability of Dr. Vaquero, closeness, transparency and passion for the clinical development of treatments by and for the patients involved and society in general.
