Today, on the International Day of Disability, we take a moment to reflect and celebrate the richness of diversity that defines our company. At Sermes CRO, this day is not just a date on the calendar; it is an opportunity to emphasize the importance of our social mission to integrate individuals with disabilities into the workforce.
Our mission of employment integration is not just a slogan; it is a commitment deeply rooted in the foundation of our company. Since Sermes’ inception in 1997, we have worked tirelessly to create an environment where every person, regardless of their abilities or physical capacities, feels valued and empowered.
From day one, our dual objective has been focused on individuals with disabilities: on one hand, we aim to improve their quality of life, well-being, and the preservation of their rights, and on the other hand, we strive to normalize their full social, employment, salary, and emotional integration in the eyes of our clients, suppliers, and stakeholders in general.
As a company dedicated to clinical research, we focus on the professional development of these individuals, in roles dedicated to clinical research management, and moreover, within these roles, in positions of responsibility and high qualification, as they constitute the majority of the qualified workforce. In fact, this is something we are already achieving, as evidenced by the formation of our own executive committee.
Today, there are few companies that dare to go beyond mere words and good intentions to invest in the talent of individuals with disabilities in STEM profiles. Sermes does!
